The Fifth Survivor - Epsiode 1 Page 10
The lizardas begin to attack him and he’s able to dodge the initial slash attacks. Running around, he shoots the creature with 3 shots. He misses all of his shots due to the agility of the creatures.
Magnum Rounds: 6
He tries to reload and is successful in doing so. After reloading though, he’s struck by one of the creatures. After being attacked, he shoots both lizardas dead as he nearly runs out of bullets for his magnum.
Condition: Danger
Magnum Rounds: 2
George uses the Super Herb. Condition: Fine
As much as he wanted to save the herb, he knows that he needs to be in good health in case Mr. Z shows up again. George goes down the stairs and reaches the third floor. Remembering the door to the parking lot, he runs to the west side of the 3rd floor hallway.
He bumps into another set of big spider webs. He sees a dead guard’s body and looks for anything useful.
Picked up +6 Magnum Rounds. Magnum Rounds: 8
After picking up the magnum rounds, he sees a spider that is even bigger than the ones he’s seen.
Boss: Black Panther
It’s code named Black Panther and it’s twice as big as the regular web spinners. It gets its size from longer and constant exposure to the Raven Hawk Virus. As a result, its spit can kill anybody instantly if their immune systems are not perfect. It gets it’s name because it’s pure black in color with no other color similar to a panther.
The Black Panther attacks George by slapping him to the wall with its legs. Hitting the wall hard, he takes some damage.
Condition: Caution (Level 1)
Brushing himself as quickly as possible, he shoots three rounds directly at the spider dealing damage to it. The spider spits a huge amount of poison towards him, but he’s able to dodge to his left and avoid it.
Magnum Rounds: 5
Caught reloading his magnum, he is tackled by the spider and slapped again.
Condition: Caution (Level 2)
From the floor he shoots two more rounds at the spider and it backs away from him. However, the gun jams on him again and he has to slam it to the ground in order to unjam it. The spider tries to spit its poison again, but he’s barely able to roll out of the way. The poison is so rancid that it melts the spider webs and causes a horrible pungent smell in the hallway.
“Oh God that smell, it’s horrible!” He shouts.
Once he unjams his gun, he is grabbed by the spider as it attempts to eat him whole. With the gun in his right hand, he fights to free it. After a bit of a struggle, he frees his right hand and realizes he has one shot at the spider. He shoots the spider on its eyes and blinds it. With two more shots, he finishes the spider off and kills it.
Magnum Rounds: 2
He falls on top of the melted spider webs and gets some melted silk on him. He can care less as he’s close to his escape route. Running down the hallway, he realizes that he needs to get out as fast as possible as he has no more healing items. Walking towards the door to the parking lot, he sees zombies popping to his left and right.
With his pistol, he begins to shoot the zombies. Out of the 8 that pop out, he kills four right away.
Pistol Ammo: 38
The other four zombies rush towards him and he’s forced to back away while shooting. He kills two more of them as he’s running.
Pistol Ammo: 30
While reloading, the last two run towards him and grab him. He’s able to push one away while the other one take a bite at him before he pushes it away.
Condition: Danger
With his magnum, he lands head shots on both zombies. He breathes a sign of relief as he barely survives the horde. Running to the door, he sees more zombies eating away at a dead doctor. He wisely ignores them and inserts both the red and blue keycards into the keycard reader. The lock on the door releases and he heads down the stairs to the parking lot.
Magnum Rounds: 0
Looking behind him, he sees Mr. Z punching the zombies in its way and making a bee-line towards him. His phone rings and he picks up.
“George baby, are you here?” Elaine asks.
“Yes, I’m on my way now. As soon as I get there you floor it!” George shouts running out of breath.
“Ok hun!” She answers.
Mr. Z continues to chase him as he goes down the stairs. After two more flights of stairs, he makes it to the parking lot. At first he doesn’t see Elaine’s car, but after a minute the car arrives.
When Elaine arrives, Mr. Z breaks through the wall and gives chase to the two. George hops into Elaine’s car, which is a red 2007 Nissan Maxima. Elaine is wearing a red blouse with khaki pants and white sneakers. She is a brunette as well and despite her age, she looks young.
“Oh I’m glad you made it! Let’s get out of here!” George says.
When Elaine tries to floor the car, it doesn’t move.
“I can’t move! What’s going on?” Elaine asks.
“Oh crud! That monster is holding the car. Crap I’m going to have to fight it!” George replies.
He jumps out of the car and begins to shoot Mr. Z while Elaine lets go of the gas. The pistol bullets George shoots do little to stop the superhuman and it continues to move towards him. As he tries to reload his pistol, Mr. Z grabs him by the throat and begins to choke him.
“No, George! I’m not letting you die!” Elaine shouts.
She jumps out of the car and bravely jumps on the back of Mr. Z. The monster pushes her away like a ragdoll as it keeps its focus on George. The chokehold causes George to lose consciousness and Mr. Z drops him to the ground. It focuses its attention towards Elaine.
“No… No please don’t kill me! I don’t know who or what you are, but please have mercy on me.” She says, but Mr. Z pays her no mind.
“I guess this is how my life ends…” She says weakly bracing for her death.
Mr. Z grabs her and prepares to choke her until three shots are fired at its head. George gets up slowly to see Mr. Z being shot at until it falls to the floor knee first. Turning back, he sees the person shooting is holding the same Desert Eagle magnum. However, the person is wearing a motorcycle suit and helmet. The helmet doesn’t completely cover her brown hair giving him some way to remember her by.
“I told you to get out of here! Do it for your own good, you have no idea what you just got yourself into!” The mysterious female says.
He recognizes the voice as the same one he’s been hearing all this time.
“Hey wait, who are you?” He screams.
He gets no answer as the woman hops on her motorcycle and rides off into the night. Before she rides off, she leaves a note on the ground.
“You’re wondering who I am? For now that will remain a mystery, but don’t worry I shall reveal myself in time. You have no idea what you just got yourself into. If I were you I would get out of NYC for a while. If you want to find me, I’ll be in Westchester County. I live in White Plains to be specific and here is my address.
100 Oakland Ave
White Plains, NY 10601
Don’t go after me right away if you don’t want Hybrid to find about your involvement. Give it a few months. Be aware that I know you’re George Fisher. Don’t worry your secret is safe with me. I saved you for a reason, not because I fell in love with you, so don’t even try. Eventually it’s up to you on what you decide to do. I won’t be offended either way.
P.S. – Make sure you take my advice and get the hell out of that hospital and out of NYC. Until we meet again, just don’t try anything funny.”
After reading the note, he finds out the mystery woman was indeed saving him from Mr. Z. However, the devil in the details is still foggy and he is left with more questions than answers. One thing is for sure, he must make a tough decision. What makes it tougher is that he won’t know who she is right away. That will leave a cloud of fog for a long amount of time and he has to consider that things might change in the future.
“This is a tough decision. Do I stay here agains
t the advice of the woman and keep my ‘normal’ life, possibly risking being targeted by Hybrid? Or do I take my chances meeting this woman possibly in a few months not knowing her true intentions? All I know she seems to know who Hybrid is and seems to know who I am. She might be a big ally or a dangerous foe. How convenient of her not to leave her name on her address either, seesh. One thing is for sure, I can’t tell Elaine.” He says in his mind.
“Are you ok George? Who was that person who saved us?” Elaine asks.
“I wish I knew, but sadly I never got to see her face or even know her age for that matter. All I know is that she saved our butts and she has beautiful brown hair. Maybe it’s best if we never found out who she was.” George answers while hiding the note.
“Still I would like to thank her. I hope you’re not trying to get any ideas, if you know what I mean.” Elaine replies.
“Elaine look, I’m sure us escaping to safety is all she wants and why would I hit on anyone I don’t know. There might be a reason why she did not reveal herself. Maybe she will reveal herself, but for now let’s just get out of here. Besides I can use a shot of whiskey and a serious back rub. Besides, I don’t want that monster getting up again before we leave.” He responds.
“I guess you’re right hun.” Elaine answers.
George and Elaine get into the car. Elaine drives the car out of the parking lot and onto Flushing Ave. The woman on the motorcycle is long gone and George instructs Elaine to not even try to look for her. George can’t help but to think about the note that he read. As much as he wants to make a decision on what to do, the decision is too tough for now.
He just wants to get home and relax. Although, he knows he might not be able to live a normal life anymore as he knows Hybrid is up to no good.
After a half hour drive, Elaine drops George off at home and offers to massage his back. When the two enter the house, Elaine massages his back. She can’t stay for too long as she has to get home before her husband gets back from work. Elaine winks her eyes at him leaving George to laugh.
What George doesn’t know is that while he escaped from the hospital, a helicopter with two survivors is picking up two other survivors from the helipad of the hospital. The two survivors in the hospital are no other than Angel and Maria, his favorite students during their years in the Junior High School he works at. George has no idea that he is the unknown “Fifth Survivor” of the first zombie outbreak in New York City. Whether he will ever see Maria and Angel after this life-changing experience is a different matter entirely.
What he does know is that the puzzle of the Hybrid Corporation just became more complex and more dangerous as well. He knows they have no limits to what they will try and who they’re willing to hurt just to achieve world domination. All he can do is lie down and sleep knowing he just survived the first outbreak.

Characters –
Main Characters (Allies):
George – He is the main and playable character of “The Fifth Survivor”. George’s day job is working as a janitor in the local Junior High School. However, his real job and his true passion is an investigative journalist for the Cypress Hills Tabloid. He has broken many big cases and exposed many big time criminals in the local area. He is a man of few words when he’s out interviewing people, but his mind speaks a lot. Hybrid is his newest target when he finds out that they want to expand their company to Cypress Hills for reasons unknown. George is usually a nice person who cares about others, but when it comes to his job, his demeanor changes.
While he does get answers from Anthony Clark, he is not satisfied with the answers and feels Hybrid is hiding a huge secret. He decides to begin his own secret probe operation. Not even the president of the tabloid knows of his suspicions. In fact, as the story goes on, he begins to suspect that his boss is involved. However, the biggest challenge will prove to be to keep his secret double life a secret. Also, maintaining the balance between his normal ‘civilian’ life and his secret journalistic life will be a challenge. He goes by the pen name of “The Fish Master” to prevent being exposed. He’s in his lower 50’s, but has quite the spunk still.
Harry – George’s younger brother. He’s around 46 years old and is always worried about his older brother. He is George’s wingman when it comes to his secret probing missions. Harry has knowledge of hacking and is able to hijack security consoles to override or disable them. For the most part, he is supportive of his older brother. There are times though that he tries to point George away from certain actions that could compromise the mission. More often than not though, George ignores his brother and goes on with his plan figuring he needs to be risky in order to complete the mission.
Dave – George’s best friend. Dave is a scientist who is constantly testing the new vaccines and is licensed by New York State as an examiner. He is around the same age as George. He works from his house where he has a lab. George brings him a sample of the Raven Hawk Vaccine so he can test it for any signs of causing mutations. Dave has ‘good’ relations with the president of Woodhull Hospital. However, he notices that the president who is Danny Witwer begins to act suspicious. Dave has seen Hybrid officials go into the hospital many times and with Hybrid’s checkered past, Dave becomes protective against Witwer.
He begins to suspect that Witwer is in cahoots with Hybrid and there is a large money exchange ready to take place between the Hospital and Hybrid. As he begins to put the pieces together and figure out what Raven Hawk really is, he is mysteriously murdered in his house. Nobody knows who murdered Dave, but George figures out that Dave was setup to be killed by his former best friend, Witwer.
Elaine – One of George’s former co-workers when he used to work the local political field. She used to and still has a crush on George. However, her feelings for him have gone away slowly as she’s married. She is a tough woman despite being in her mid 50’s. She drives a new 2018 Nissan Maxima. Elaine picks up George from the hospital and rescues him from the horrors of the hospital.
Main Characters (Enemies):
Anthony Clark – He is the current president of the Hybrid Corporation and currently lives in California where the headquarters is located. Anthony claims that he’s building a sub-substation in Cypress Hills to help out the community. George doesn’t believe that and believes Anthony has more sinister plans. During the interview with Anthony, George isn’t convinced with his answers. Anthony is in his lower 40’s. He took over the company when his father died to the dismay of his brother, Herman Clark.
Some people say this move is a smokescreen for Anthony to move to the Cypress Hills area of New York. His personality is that of your average rich man. He likes to double talk and will try to step around answering certain questions while answering ones he wants to answer with authority. Lots of journalists don’t enjoy interviewing Anthony. It’s safe to say, he might not be a well-liked person, but he is a successful one.
Danny Witwer – Danny is the president of Woodhull Hospital. He is in his mid 40’s and he tends to be a good person to talk to unlike Anthony. He has a good reputation of researching cures for certain illnesses and donating to cancer research for young kids. However his former best friend, Dave is beginning to see a different side of Witwer.
Danny is a sneaky individual who does unethical things under people’s noses. In fact, he was accused of stealing money from the hospital and coercing it into a secret account. Not enough evidence was found to convict him, but he did lose a lot of respect from his peers. The deal between Hybrid and Woodhull hospital is supposed to benefit the future of medical research. Some of his peers believe he’s in it for the money and the research is not going to benefit anybody.<

George finds out that Witwer is indeed committing unethical deeds in cahoots with the Hybrid Corporation. In fact, he finds out that Witwer set up the hit on his friend Dave. George also finds out that he is on Witwer’s hit list and Witwer knows his pen name. When it comes to how Witwer found out that remains a mystery.
Other Characters:
Maria – She is a former student from the Junior High School where George works his day job. George takes a liking to her and views her as a daughter that he never had. She treats George as a friend but nothing more. He doesn’t mind as he wants to make sure she is in good hands. Even if it means he has to do his magic from behind the scenes.
Barry – He is the lieutenant of the 75th precinct. Barry meets George in the school as he’s supposed to give a presentation to the 8th grade class. Barry doesn’t really give any vibes to George until he sees the news report about the Clark Family Mansion explosion. Barry walks away quickly, but it could simply be him trying to get to the classroom in time.
Barry sports a dark pair of sunglasses and has blond hair. He is around 40 although he does have a babyface causing people to think he is far younger. George becomes suspicious of Barry when he begins to read documents saying a person called “Mr. B” assassinating Dave and others. Could Mr. B be code for Barry?
Mystery Girl – There is a mystery girl who is presumably trying to escape the hospital when it becomes infested with zombies. George believes that the missing girl is Maria from school. However, he never gets close enough to rescue her from Mr. Z. He is convinced by the voice that Maria is in the hospital. As he gets closer to escaping though, he doesn’t hear her anymore. Either she escapes or his fear, she has perished in the hospital.
Mystery Woman – While she could easily be labeled as an ally, not enough is known about her true intentions. There is yet another mystery person in the hospital. When George faces Mr. Z and it threatens to kill him, a mystery woman shoots and takes down the monster. George is unable to find out who it is and all he knows is that she is carrying a .50 Caliber Desert Eagle Action Express magnum. The only physical feature that he can see is that the woman has long straight hair. All she says to him is to get out of the hospital right away.
