  This is a box set of my GameLit Survival Horror/ZomPoc series, Angel’s Nightmare Adventure. Included in this box set are all five stories that are in the series so far, they will be in canon order. In otherwords, the order will be Angel’s Nightmare Adventure 0, 1, 1.5, 2, and 3.

  To make this more worthwhile for new and returning fans alike, this box set will contain a couple of extras as well. The first is a preview of the next book that will be releasing next year which will be Angel’s Nightmare Adventure 4: Croatian Nightmares. The second bonus is the beginnings of a side quest within the main story called, The Fifth Survivor.

  The Fifth Survivor builds on the events of Angel’s Nightmare Adventure one and looks at the unknown fifth survivor of the story named George. He will play a huge role behind the scenes as he tries to expose the Hybrid Corporation from the ground up before they strike.

  This promises to be the ultimate nightmarish experience five full books and a few extras. It will be so bad that you might need a few nightlights before you’re done entirely. I did call it the ultimate nightmare set for a reason. Enjoy my fellow zombie loving friends and fans.

  Cut Scene

  May 15, 2007

  It’s a calm day in May and the NYPD 75th precinct gets a call that their assistance is needed in Schenectady, New York. There has been an unusual amount of murders taking place close to the Clark family mansion. The local police are having a hard time with figuring out what or who is behind all the murders. However, the murders are strange in nature as no weapon is involved with any of them and all the victims have deep bite marks on them. As a result, they have decided to call the Special Forces of the NYPD to help with the case.

  The Special Forces consist of a few people and two teams (Alpha and Bravo)
. The Alpha team consists of 4 people. First is Harry who is an experienced hiker and a sharpshooter. He can take plenty of damage. However he tends to be more of a lone wolf type making him a tough teammate to work with at times. Second is Thomas who is a team player and the eldest of the crew. He always carries his trusty Colt Python magnum with him. Despite the firepower though, he is not as fast as the others making him susceptible in getting into a tough spot.

  Then you have Sabrina, who is the youngest member of the Alpha team. She passed her tests with all A’s and is actually a better sharpshooter than Harry. However, with that comes the fact that she is unable to take as much damage as the others making her the weakest character. She tends to piggyback off Thomas for advice.

  Finally you have Barry, who is the captain of the entire Special Forces. He sports dark glasses all the time and tends to go on by himself most of the time. Barry isn’t liked by a few members of the squad for his arrogance and nasty attitude. Despite that, he does get the job done and has experience in California. That is at least according to his resume.

  Once the mission is accepted, the two squads head to the helicopter and begin their journey to the mansion to see if they can gather any dirt.

  A few hours later, the sun has gone down and the crew find themselves in Schenectady heading down towards the mansion. The Alpha team gets out of the chopper. The scene is oddly quiet, maybe a little too quiet. The lack of light in the area makes it tough for the squad to see around them. They turn on their flashlights in an attempt to find the mansion.

  “That was the day, we all just stood there in the dark not knowing what to expect. Then we saw smoke coming from up ahead, it was probably the chopper the Bravo team was on. They had gone first towards the mansion.” Harry said.

  As they walk, a crawling sound can be heard. Everybody looks around, but nothing is seen so they just keep going until they get to the helicopter.

  “When we got to the helicopter, the chopper was down but all the equipment seemed to be in perfect shape and nobody was in the chopper. However, we soon discovered why…” Harry continued.

  “Hey everyone come here! I found something!” A man screams.

  Looking at the name tag, his name is Joseph and he is a member of the Bravo team. He has found a gun in the tall grass and makes a gruesome discovery. Joseph picks up the gun, the whole hand pops out indicating that a member of the Bravo team has been butchered.

  “Aghhhh…” Joseph screams when he sees the hand with the bone sticking out bleeding like crazy. Even a couple of fingers have been bitten off as well.

  While he’s screaming on top of his lungs, a growl can be heard. When he turns around, he sees a dog that is aggressive and rushes towards him. Joseph screams as he tries to run away from the dog, but then gets surrounded by more dogs. The Alpha team members try to help him, but the dogs are already making Joseph their next tasty meal.

  “Joseph!” Sabrina screams seeing him helplessly being eaten.

  Once the dogs go finish off Joseph, they turn their focus towards the others.

  “Holy crap those dogs are heading for us, run!” Harry screams as everybody tries to run while shooting the dogs.

  Between the four members, they are able to kill the pursing dogs. However, when Harry looks up in the sky he hears and sees the chopper fly away.

  “No, don’t go! You son of a bitch come back here! Damn!” Harry screams as the pilot, Brad, might have left everyone for dead.

  “No, did Brad just leave us for dead?” Sabrina asks.

  “It seems that way.” Thomas replies.

  “So his true colors come out, he’s nothing but a coward.” Barry replies harshly.

  “I don’t think Brad is a coward, but I wished he didn’t just cop out the way he did.” Harry says trying to defend Brad.

  “Like it or not, he’s not here and we’re on our own.” Barry says.

  The four hear more growling and spot more dogs coming from the forest chasing them. Once they spot the dogs, they run as fast as they can and shoot the dogs.

  “Run just run!” Thomas screams.

  “Crap I’m out of bullets!” Harry screams.

  “Just run towards the house!” Barry screams trying to lead the rest of them into the mansion.

  All of them run as fast as they can and begin to run of ammo for their weapons. The amount of dogs becomes too much and they simply try to get into the house no matter what. Once they see the door, they fight through the fatigue and rush towards the front door.

  Once they get to the door, they break in and once they get inside of the mansion they close the door and lock the door. All of them catch their breath, they marvel in the size of the main hallway.

  “Wow what a mansion!” Barry looks in amazement.

  “Not your ordinary house that’s for sure.” Sabrina follows.

  “Wait, where’s Harry?” Thomas asks.

  The three hear a gunshot go off and assume the worse has happened to Harry.

  “What was that?” Thomas asks.

  “No… it can’t be…” Sabrina thinks the worse.

  “I’m afraid…” Barry is ready to say that Harry is probably dead.

  “No! I’m going to check the dining room. He might need out help!” Sabrina says.

  “I’m going with her! Harry is our old partner you know.” Thomas agrees to go with Sabrina.

  “Well…” Barry says hesitant.

  “What’s wrong Barry?” Sabrina asks.

  “Nothing, just be careful you two. This mansion is huge and we can get lost easily.’ Barry answers.

  The two of them go into the dining room and begin to search for Harry…

  Enter the Survival Horror!

  Sabrina’s Story

  Chapter 1

  Sabrina and Thomas enter the dining room and investigate the area. The dining room has a huge table along with medieval design surrounding it. There is a Croatian Flag, as the Clark’s are decedents of Croatia. With their guns drawn, they walk slowly towards the back of the room where a medieval era emblem is shown. Thomas stops as he spots something.

  “Hey wait, what is this?” Thomas says when he spots the suspicious thing.

  “What is it?” Sabrina asks.

  “Blood.” He replies.

  “Whose blood could it be?” She asks.

  “I have no idea. Let’s just hope it’s not Harry’s blood. Hey, I’ll examine this while you go through that door and see if you spot any clues.” He answers.

  Sabrina nods her head and gathers herself as she prepares to go through the door.

  Game Begin

  Condition: Fine

  Survival Knife engaged as a defensive weapon.

  Pistol Ammo: 15

  When she opens the door, she is greeted with a dark hallway with an eerie green wallpaper giving it a dark signature look. She heads to the right and sees three doors that are all locked. She approaches door one and sees that the door is locked from the other side. When she gets to door two she notices something about the lock.

  The door is locked. A symbol of a knight’s armor is engraved on the lock.

  “Wonder what that means?” She asks herself as she heads to door number three.

  It’s locked from the other side.

  “Darn it, looks like this is gonna be the classic labyrinth adventure with all these locked doors.” She says taking a deep breath.

  Deciding to go the opposite way of the hallway, she spots a person eating the remains of what seems to be one of the members from the Bravo team. She is too shocked by what she sees that she doesn’t shoot her weapon, instead she runs back to the dining room.

  “Thomas!” She screams while catching her breath.

  “What’s wrong?” He asks in a high tone.

  The door opens and the human who was eating the Bravo team member busts out the door.

  “Look out!” She screams as the human pops into the dining room.

  “Let me take care of it!” He says and without hesitation s
hoots the human dead popping its head off.

  “What the hell was that thing?” She asks.

  “I don’t know, but if I had to guess it looks like those old zombie movies have come to fruition.” He replies.

  “We better go report this to Barry!” She urges him.

  “Good idea let’s go.” He says in agreement.

  The two head back to the hallway and they notice Barry is MIA.

  “Barry!” Thomas screams, but gets no response.

  “Where could he be?” She asks.

  “Sabrina, you go look around the back and see if you see him while I’ll stay on guard.” He says.

  Sabrina goes towards the back section behind the set of stairs leading to the second floor. However, she only spots dust mites and no Barry. When she returns to the main hall, she tells Barry what she found.

  “Anything?” He asks.

  “No, nothing.” She says in frustration.

  “Ah… This is a huge mansion, we can easily get lost in here. Let’s do this. I’ll investigate the dining room while you explore the room to the right.” Thomas comes up with a plan.

  “Sounds like a plan to me…” She walks but is stopped by Barry.

  “Wait, I have something for you. Sabrina here’s a lockpick; it might be handy if you, the master of unlocking take it with you.” He says.

  Barry hands Sabrina a lockpick.

  Lockpicking Level: 1

  “Thanks, I’ll take it.” She says happily.

  “If anything happens, let’s meet up in this hall.” He replies.

  The two go on their separate ways. Sabrina enters the double doors and spots a statue of a goddess holding a vase. She spots a moveable chest and pulls it out revealing a secret passage. When she enters the passage she sees a bunch of paintings and frames on the side. Getting to the end she spots another human on the floor.

  She kneels down to study the human and notices its skin is pale in nature. Also its face is rather deformed. Ignoring it, she spots a pick up on the counter.

  Picked up a pistol clip. +15 Pistol Ammo.

  Pistol Ammo: 30

  After picking up the ammo, she notices the human grabbing her boots and trying to bite her.

  “What you doing? Are you trying to bite me?” She asks but the human doesn’t respond.

  When the human continues trying to bite her she has no choice but to step on its head. When she steps on its head, she notices the head is crushed and begins to bleed. Holding her desire to vomit, she runs from the scene trying to comprehend what she saw.

  After running out of the hallway, she spots another door in the room. When she tries to open the wooden door, it’s locked. Remembering that she was just given a lockpick, she decides to use it to open the pick the door open. She is successful in picking the door.
